I’m looking forward to being a part of our new equine facility.  I enjoy sharing my knowledge of natural horse training and natural horse care.  I feel blessed to be able to be with horses every day and am looking ahead to developing the first natural horse boarding facility in the area. 

I have been working with horses for almost 20 yrs. and started on a pony named Rainbeau.  For 16 yrs. I was a Combined Training Event rider, Eventing up to Training Level.  I was also a Pony Club member with a rating of C-3.  Over the past 5 yrs. I began studying natural horsemanship, which teaches students to use a horses own language in order to communicate with them more effectively. 

I have studied Pat Parelli, John Lyons, Clinton Anderson and most recently I have studied under Chris Irwin.  I am a Level 1 certified student with Pat Parelli and a Gold certified instructor with Chris Irwin.  I spent 2007 in Lexington, KY working for Chris Irwin at the Secretariat Center, which is located at the Kentucky Horse Park, retraining ex racehorses. 

Through all of these experiences, I have learned a way of being with horses that promotes compassion and empathy.  Because the horses feel like they are being heard and not forced to work, they actually become more compliant. 

Students can apply what the have learned at R.O.S.E. Farm and use it in their everyday lives.  This isn’t just a horse experience, it’s a life experience.
